New performance setup guidance needed

Chetan
Hi There,

1. Can we run nGrinder performance test from code base (not using browser localhot:8080 at all)? Running each batch of agent, controller and monitor from code only?
2. Can we use our own repository like git? If yes, How we can manage scripts (consists of different test and each test navigate through different pages, and stress configuration)
3. Is cluster environment is good for multiple IDC only (where multiple teams run there tests from different teams) or it helps for single product with more number of agents also?

As per our requirement we are planning to run multiple test on different environment (local and various QA/Stage envs of same application) , kind of performance test driven development. But we want to get the script developed centrally and will be used across the all developers/Perf QA.

I thought if we can run controller/agent/monitor from script and run selected test from command line and then observe the report from browser (controller) for that specific environment.

Can you please suggest me details for this setup and if you have sample available online or dump.

FYI: I am successfully able to run test on my local, I liked it and would like to extend further.

Thanks,
Chetan
