Load/Performance Test on a client/server application

I'm looking for a performance/load testing tool for a .net based client/server application, which has DevExpress controls.

Does ngrinder support this kind of application for performance/load testing?

If you already know the socket protocol b/w client and server and you can receive/send the message, you can use ngrinder.

If not, I recommend you to use the other tool like loadrunner.
